Alex has a background as a senior business leader with experience of the UK and global construction products sector with 20 years at PLC Board level as CEO and Finance Director and as former chair of the Association for the Conservation of Energy (ACE) - a leading energy efficiency lobbying organisation in the UK at that time. 

Experience includes Managing Director / CEO roles in insulation manufacturing companies Superglass Insulation and Saint-Gobain Isover as well as the UK’s leading specialist insulation installer Miller Pattison. Other roles include MD at trussed rafter manufacturers Crendon Timber Engineering, MD at the National Timber Group and Financial Director at British Gypsum.
